The CRUMBS Project Bournemouth

The CRUMBS Project helps change the lives of disadvantaged adults through hospitality-based ‘training for independence’, which empowers them with professional, digital, and life-skills, along with the confidence and determination to gain employment and lead happier, more fulfilling lives.

CRUMBS work with individuals not in education, employment, or training with learning disabilities, and/or physical disabilities, neurodivergences, or mental health conditions. Their hospitality-based training and development programmes, in Food Production & Service, Housekeeping, Administration, and Digital Skills, are accredited by the Craft Guild of Chefs and endorsed by the Institute of Hospitality.

CABWI’s support enables professional education and training opportunities to be extended for up to 25 adults a year. Each benefits from an individual learning plan with tailored goals, support strategies, and a clear pathway to develop their vocational and life skills. This makes it more likely they will gain and sustain employment in the hospitality industry.
